Czech Christmas can never be missed without Braid with raisins, plait is a Czech traditional Christmas dish filled with raisins, which must not be missing on the Christmas table as well as carp / salmon with excellent potato salad must not be missing on the table.


RAW MATERIALS: ⁠

  • 480 g of spelled flour

  • 40 g of coconut oil⁠

  • 1 egg for dough + 1 egg to spread⁠

  • 70 g of cane sugar

  • 30 g vanilla protein prote

  • 250 ml of milk

  • Lemon peel⁠

  • 1/2 cube of yeast

  • A pinch of salt⁠

  • A handful of raisins

  • Sliced ​​almonds for sprinkling

PROCEDURE: ⁠

From two teaspoons of vanilla sugar, yeast and a little lukewarm milk, make yeast and let it rise. Meanwhile, in a larger bowl, mix flour, eggs, sugar, a pinch of salt, lemon peel, milk, vanilla protein and add coconut oil. Finally, mix in the finished yeast. Stir until we have a soft dough. Finally, add the raisins to the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about an hour. We will divide the leavened dough into pieces according to how we will entangle the Christmas cake. Transfer the finished Christmas cake to a baking sheet, rub with beaten egg, sprinkle with almond slices and bake in an oven heated to 170 ° C for about 40 minutes.
